My name is Judah, or as my Dad likes to call me, "Juicebox." I'm one of those kids that has developed "Only Child Syndrome," but I have siblings, three to be exact. All sisters, and all were already grown when I arrived. I even have a 7 year old niece and a 2 year old nephew, neither of which will call me "Uncle" as I have requested. I am not sure if it is because I was the "late in life" baby, or if it is just the way God made me, but my mom says, I am old before my time.
I ask a lot of questions, and have a lot of opinions. My parents can only take so many of my 100 question conversations, so I decided to join my mom on her "blog life." She said she is willing to share her "dimming" spotlight with me, since I usually steal it anyway! I am hoping, just maybe, to bring a fresh perspective to many of life's important issues such as; what basketball sneaker is best, which Fortnite skin is the current fashion, and will Lebron ever get another ring?
I guess I should "properly" introduce my parents as well, since technically they run the show, and this blog. As you can see, my family is unique. My mom, who my sisters refer to as "Bunny," her alter ego. She is the blogger in the family and has been blogging since before I was born, and I guess you could say that I get my love for writing from her. My Dad, who says the only words I need to know to survive marriage when I grow up, is "Yes Dear," is the one who keeps us laughing and I defiantly get my love for all things sports from him. Legend has it, as my mom labored for 17 hours during her "old age," my Dad quietly sat in a chair beside her bed throwing a football in the air the whole night. That football sat in the bottom corner of my crib until I was old enough to throw it. Legend also has it that the football is all that sat in my crib because I slept in their bed till I was 4.
We are a close family, with alot of ups and downs, side turns, and angles. We love God and we love each other, and I hope that you enjoy our adventure in blogging, and maybe just have a laugh along the way!
